Mindy at www.onestringer.com does a great job with custom wraps, and if you design them that way and cut them in half you get 2 dozen out of 12. For the extra couple of cents per arrow to have them look like you want, it's worth it. "Life's too short to shoot ugly arrows". Mindy has that on her web site, I suggested it

I have the easton Axis st arrows and I used the super glue type adhesive.
I clean the arrow with alcohol and may use a Scotch brite pad to free up the gloss finish so the glue adhears better. The blazer vanes usually stay on unless they hit something repetitive like sticking to deep into a target!
If you hit bone on an animal and loose a fletching you cant stop that I don't think. Never liked the stick on arrow wraps they tend to get little rips in them pretty easy! I have seen the painted cresting do fine but not necessarily help hold the fletchings on better.

To those who put on the wraps and then attach the vanes to the wraps... I understand how the vanes stick better to the wrap, but what sticks the wrap to the arra shaft? Seems to me that the wrap would just tear off if the vane hits a target/bone/etc.?? Obviously there must be something I'm overlooking so would someone please clear it up for me? Thx,

            Saltwaterslick,

I am no expert, but I would assume the wraps stick better to the shaft then the vanes becuase there is much more surface area for the wrap to stick too (the whole outside of the shaft) while the vane only has the small surface area to stick too. Just my assumption, but I shot an axis yesterday evening and got a pass through, I cleaned up the arrow and it is ready to go again. No vane issues at all.

Good luck if you decide to go with them.

The blazers are notorious for not sticking.....there is a new one out very similiar to blazers by AAE I believe and they stick VERY well from what I am told

The wraps are like a super sticky, thick, bumper sticker. They stick like a big dog. They only come off when you demand that they come off.
