Metal building help

I'm buying a new house in Hallettsville and finally will have room to build the shop i've always wanted. I'm looking at the 30'x40' range with a leanto on one side. I'm going to have part of the building walled in and insulated with heat and a/c. That will be my man cave/hunting-fishing supply room. Does anyone have any experience with a builder in the area or have a recommendation? Thanks.

I've been there. I know the guy who's parents own it. Cool place for sure. They had a great idea and ran with it.

Started to recommend them earlier, but wasn't sure how far his nearest dealer was. They've been great about selling me steel for projects that had nothing to do with metal buildings. Didn't even charge me extra for certain things they normally do. The folks at the location in Waxahachie have been really nice to deal with.

Jsapp, you are building exactly what I am. I have quotes from about 10 companies. Frustrating process. I am leaving a 30x15 section in back for bar/man cave. I have looked at put up yourself buildings to turnkey, to pole barns etc. so far cheapest is 17500 put up and insulated. This is without the devider for the man cave.... That included the slab as well.

I built a 30x40 with a 12 foot lean to on one side. I walled up part of the lean to for a room also. I bought it from Muellar and put it up myself. Not that big of a job. That has been several years ago so the price would be more now but they were the lowest price by far and easy to work with. Any other questions contact me.

They have quality products! I prefer all metal to prevent termites down the road.

I posted on ur other thread in classified.... You are right on that price but compare apples to apples ya get what you pay for cheaper is not always better. Alot of building guys will use pipe or sq tubing instead of I beam or materials made in Mexico instead of USA steel...
