Has anyone tried LEDs yet?

Now that the price has come down they are showing up on bowfishing boats all over the place. Bowfishingcountry is full of led threads.

Doing a little reviewing, I can't tell if above or below the water would be better with LEDs

If they were in the hull underwater they would work fine but anything mounted on the sides/front of the boat and under the water is going to get torn up pretty easy. Also you will get your line wrapped around underwater lights easier with a fish on.

Did not even think about that.

The ones I saw underwater were for flounder gigin, so dont think their is a worry about lines
