We were on a Fredericksburg wine tour about a month ago and I insisted (begged) on stopping at the Garrrison Brothers distillery for their tour too. Pretty interesting and then the sampling at the end was great. We stopped and bought a bottle at a little store on 290 just down from the distillery. I'm scared to open it @ over $85 a bottle!

NASA RD 1 and Bay Area. Specs cash price was 75$. Just can't bring my self to spend that kind of money on such a small bottle.

not sure if you've ever tried it but i am a huge fan of a whisky called Pendleton's - it's a canadian style that is made in Oregon...i'd highly recommend trying it if you have not yet done so. excellent bottle for the price!

I went to the distillery over spring break, definitely a neat trip! Unfortunately all of the liquor stores I stopped at either didn't carry it or were sold out. Not sure if I wanted to pay the $75-$85 price tag anyway.

My dad loves it, he bought a case. I just picked a bottle up from Specs in Humble to give a buddy for his 30th birthday.

I will stick to Forty Creek and Russels Reserve for casual drinking.

My favorite whiskey by far. It's actually made in Canada and bottled in Oregon. I used to be a crown man, but it's smoother, and way cheaper.

Funny story, I was in Hood River, OR on business. I noticed some Pendleton on a shelf at the bar. I thought it was odd, because you don't see it that much. I was telling the bartender how much I like it and he said "its bottled on the next block over". The next day the owner of the dealership got me a private tour of the bottling plant and some free whiskey. Pretty cool
