I understand it's election year garbage, but dont you get a little tired of the total lack of response from our gov't in these situations? Add this to the comments made on a hot mic, and do the pieces really fall into place the way they appear to be doing?

agreed, but they havent openly threatened our positions like this as blatantly as they are now. there may have been masked comments or guarded conversations, but these guys sounds like imanutjob.

You sure about the threats? I swear I remember something like that back in (I think 2002) when NATO was planning on placing missile defense bases in Poland. I want to say they planned on basing nukes along that border if the plan wasn't pulled.
