While I was fishing on the upper end of Rayburn the other day I was hearing all kinds of disturbance back in the buck brush. I started trying to ease back in there as curiosity got the best of me. I was looking for the best route to get in when a prehistoric dinosaur surfaced by my boat.
Ive been around these critters my whole life and I've killed my fair share of fish bow fishing, but I'd never bow fished for these monsters. I called my Buddy William up by Athens and him and 2 of his buddies loaded up and headed this way.
It was absolute mayhem!!! Between the 4 of us, we shot 3 Alligator Gar, 1 GIANT Needle Nose, a couple of decent Buffalo, and a ton of little Needle Nose. For reference, I'm in the Bassking shirt and I'm 6'5" 280 lbs.
