We are kicking around the idea of opening a 20 yard indoor range in the downtown area of Fort Worth, and was gauging the interest. Details as follows-
1. Would be a turn key club, with 24/7 member access.
2. Range would be a 20 yard air conditioned indoor range.
3. Members would have a card swipe key that would allow them access to the facilities anytime they would like to shoot.
4. Club would host 300 and Vegas style shots, and maybe the possibilities of 3d type shoots.
5. yearly cost would be somewhere in the $100 range for unlimited access.
This is very early in the planning stage, so some of this would be subject to changes. I was the president of a local archery club while I lived in Iowa , and we ran our club basically in the same fashion. We had a lot of fun with it, and it was quite successful. We basically made enough money to keep us in good targets, and pay the bills, but most importantly, we all had a good place to shoot indoors.
