    Ranger question

I have a somewhat new 500 with just a few hours on it. It isn't due for the initial checkup yep. Recently it has started hesitating before going into gear. Is this just an adjustment to the belt expected on a new unit?

Dead spot at low RPM's before engaging CVT?

Sounds fuel delivery related if that's the case.

I'd try new fuel or add some Octane boost to the current tank for starters.

If it needs a new fuel pump (shouldn't at that age) no amount of fuel trickery will compensate.

No, it revs and idles fine. It just seems like the transmission doesn't engage immediately when I put it in high gear. Reverse and low do it less often.
