    PayPal?

If you are the seller and the buyer pays by PayPal how long after the buyer completed his part of the transaction is the money available to the seller? A few hours? Same day? Next day? I've done several deals on PayPal but always as a buyer.

FWIW I'm surprised at the number of hunters and shooters who use PayPal. PayPal like eBay is very anti-gun.

Pretty sure it is as soon as they send it.

you can put in a transfer to distribute the funds to use as soon as it is received. now it may take a few days for you to get those funds but you can request it as soon as it hits your account.

straight to bank account takes 3-4 business days. left in paypal and used that way instant. they WILL shut your account down if you put anything weapons related in the description so just "gift" it. They are anti-gun, but until something better comes along, we are kind of stuck

It will go to your PayPal acct. however, if you have never sold before, it may take up to 30 days to go from pending to available. Happened to me the first few times selling on eBay.

Straight from the PayPal policy. A friend got caught and they closed his account and kept the money.

What is PayPal’s policy on transactions that involve firearms?

We don’t allow PayPal members to buy or sell any kind of firearm, whether it’s in working order or not. The same goes for certain firearm parts and ammunition.

For example, using PayPal, you can’t buy or sell:

•Any firearm, including rifles, shotguns, and handguns, whether they’re for sport and recreation, collectibles, or curio or relic firearms.

•Firearm parts, including but not limited to receivers and frames, silencers, and kits designed to modify guns so that they fire automatically. High capacity magazines, multi-burst trigger activators, and camouflaging firearm containers are other items in this category.

•Ammunition, including propellants like gunpowder or blank ammunition; ammunition or cartridge cases; and primers, bullets, or propellant powder designed for any firearm.

Stun gun sales are allowed for U.S. residents, but only if the transaction is permitted by law in both the buyer's and seller's jurisdictions. (PayPal account holders outside the U.S. can’t buy or sell stun guns.) Before they complete a sale, U.S. sellers must make sure that the transaction is legal in both locations.

Related items that you can buy and sell using PayPal include paintball guns, blank guns, and air-soft guns, as long as such transactions are legal in the applicable jurisdiction. All of these items must display the markings required by law, must not be convertible to shoot a lethal projectile, and can’t include blank ammunition.

If the buyer is verified it is instant.

I have the PayPal Mastercard that is attached to my PayPal account (secured card). As soon as I receive funds I can go to an ATM and pull the $ out or leave it in there and use the card.

I have been an eBayer for quite a few years and luckily never had a problem with PayPal including using it once to raise funds for a memorial fund.....what I did get is a PayPal business debit card, any funds get added to the account immediately as opposed to having to wait for it deposited to the checking account...plus it gives me a buffer in case my account gets hacked, they can have whatever funds are on the card but not to my checking account because I no longer link them together

Paypal will send you an email notice when a deposit is made to your account, which is immediatley after the buyers sends the money to your Paypal account.
