    Arrow building advice

ClayW and I plan on getting set up to build our own arrows. Not sure if we will buy an arrow saw ready to go or the harbor freight saw and build a jig.

Where is the best and cheapest place to buy raw arrows? Is the savings worth the effort?

Any other advice or information will be greatly appreciated.

Those places have good prices for shafts, depending on what you are getting. The small harbor freight saw and home made jig are fine unless you start doing a lot of arrows. Than a more commercial type set up might be best. Bitzenberger jigs are the cat's meow, and you might want to consider getting more than one depending on volume.

Best thing about it is you can experiment with different set ups to see which you and your bow like best.
