As I have mentioned a time or two here, my wife was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritus about 4 years ago. She is 39 years old and has been a stay at home mom for our 6 year old since she was born (daughter is now in kindergarten). My wife is having a particularly rough start this year. The fatigue associated with RA is debilitating to the point that we are unsure if she will be able to work again. She has been an RN since 1996. She doesn't sleep well at night, so she dozes during the day. I'm pretty sure you would classify her as a heavy smoker. This compounds things in my opinion. When she can't sleep at night, she goes outside to smoke, which relaxes her, but puts nicotine in her system which helps keep her awake. Lots of stress factors going on. Since she has been a stay at home Mom (this was planned), we have have been living on my sole income-which tends to make things economically tighter as things progress.
Anyway, not ranting, just wanted to vent a little. Maybe get a virtual group hug. Thanks for your time.
