    Port O'Connor

Headed down this weekend to see if we can lay into some trout and reds. Got Brunner's recommendations last week for San Antonio bay. Anybody been down there recently? Having any luck in Espiritu or out at the jetis?

Two weeks ago my family hammered the specks on the reefs in San Antonio bay. I hope this helps.

Wind has been an issue on the weekends lately. Fish should be in Pringle and at southpass. Southpass has been blown out the last couple times I've been down. I also had the wrong boat to get into pringle. Fished the jetty three weeks ago and caught reds, drum, and lots of sheephead.

I'm headed down there Friday thru Sunday and any help would be appreciated. Gonna be windy!

I'd like to put my boss and his friends on some reds!

If the shallows are working, last summer we fished on the south side of bird island between that and the jettis and were pulling up more sharks and catfish than we knew what to do with. Not much great for eating but if you want to pull up fish its a good place to be. Look for about 30' of water not too far from the channel marker.

A friend of mine suggested Pringle too. Been a while since I've been in there.

I will be there from thursday till sunday. 2 weeks ago we had good luck in pringle drifting and caught some good trout and waded the mule slough and got into some reds...

We will be in town as well. Not sure what the plan is just yet! The last time we fished was the Thursday before Easter and it was SLOW. Hopefully we can find some fish somewhere.

I am heading out to somewhere along the coast. I was planning for powderhorn lake. Read on TKF that there was a fish kill. THat is only 3 miles from POC. We will be fishing out of yaks. Anyone else hear about the fish kill. Said it stunk like rot! Pic of 1000s of dead bait fish of some kind.
