    Slow day on Sabine

    Caught a few trout on top this morning but the bite shut down real quick. My bro in law decided to do a lil croaker strokin after it slowed down so I joined in and caught some decent croaks and another big ugly! The lake was nasty but cleared quick with the incoming tide. Still a few week's out for the good topwater bite.

    Good deal. I'm going to make a run the weekend of the 12th. May drag the yack out this weekend for a bit. We shall see.

      That's a good haul Brian. Them croaker sure are tasty when they get a little size to em like that. Good times man...thanks for the pics!

            Nope, fished the north end mostly. Wind picked up out of the NE at 15 for a couple hour's so we just toughed it out. Layed back to due north around 10 before I left.

                  Not to contradict you but the tw bite is on, a buddy of mine and his dads friends have been catchin limits multiple days in a row all on tw's.........dont wanna put out their specific location but u need to fish closer to the gulf!

                        Made it out to the jettys with about 45 minutes to fish yesterday afternoon and me and a buddy ended up with 16 trout and 3 reds, water looked gorgeous out there
