    We are Blessed!

We signed up as part of the Give one day back to the community in East Parker County. We did a little of everything painting, tree trimming, remodeling and anything that needed to be done. While my kids and I were away from home doing jobs at other places there was a team of about 40 people at my house remodeling the outside. I just want to share what a difference caring people can do. This is a huge burden lifted off my shoulders. My daughter graduates in June this year and we were working on getting the outside of our house done when we were approached by a member of the Give one day committee. He said we would like to do this for you and your family.

I am glad to know that God still answers my prayers. I did not know how we were going to get it all done but I had Faith that God would get us thru it all.

If you were part of Give one day we would like to say a huge Thank You to each and every person that worked on Saturday to make our house look so beautiful!

I have included a before and after photo so you all can see the drastic change.

    Thanks again,
    Jennifer

This was a huge Blessing and there are really no words that can decsribe how wife and I felt after seeing what they had done to our house. Like most men I'm not one to often shed a tear but, as I was talking to the preacher I got teary eyed and could not even Thank him and his people enough for this. I can say "Thank You" all day long but it felt as though it was not enough. Though our house was not the only one it seems as though they did the most at our place. I had my doubts at first but when I woke up saturday morning to see about 40 people with materials in hand I knew then that God had Blessed me and my family. Thanks again to all those who did such a great job and Thank You Lord for the Gift of your Blessings.

Brings to mind the Good Samaritan parable--"Who's your neighbor?" It should be any and everyone with a need.

Thanks everybody. We are so blessed to have a God that answers our many prayers. We will be "paying it forward" in the years to come. We are dedicated to the Give one day program.

I had the privilege of working at the Pythian home also known as an orphanage for Children that need places to live. It was a blessing in disguise to see all the work that they needed done and we were able to do more than what they asked us to do. They asked us to paint 2 barns and we painted 4 and cleaned up and organized the largest barn.

I am so thankful that my parents taught my brother and I that it is always better to give than recieve!

I would like to thank, all those that worked so hard, for Kenneth and Jennifer.
I know, they have done their best, to make a good home for the kids.
But Kenneth being on Diayalis three times a week, and pretty much unable to work, time and money are always short at hand.

There are no words to describe the feeling of giving the Time and Energy you have been given, to helping others. It is by far the most precious gift we have been given and all we have to do is share it witth those who need it most. I am so excited that you have experienced the help that has no boundaries or limitations. Thanks for sharing this post!
