    A5- value

I was looking at A5s with a friend for a school report I am doing on John Browning and saw an A5 that looks identical to mine other than mine has some rust on it and was shocked at the price is this for real or does someone think they have something special that really isnt

Looks like a gold trigger? Light 20? I too would love to have a sweet 16 and have found them far less than that. Looks like its in great shape! I have that 12 gauge.

I think they are smoking some good stuff. If it were Belgium it may be a different story being a 3" mag. Never seen a A5 in 3". 12 or 20!

Magnum twenty looks to be new in box. Worth a good chunk yes but not near that much. People waaaaayyy overprice these guns. Same with the standard 12 gauge 1100. Unless they are a rare variation ( magnum twenty new in box kinda is) they aren't worth much. They are a dime a dozen

I think it could go for that as it is near 100% condition, if yours has rust that brings it down A BUNCH
BTW they are now making a new A5, but only the same by looks, totally new firing mechanism

that BRN A5 is priced so high b/c it's NIB and a Magnum 20 3" which you rarely see. probably overpriced by a few hundred dollars BUT some collector with money to burn will pay that price or close to it.

in the 90's , A5 prices were crazy high and they came down a bunch in the 2000's.

i have a Sweet 16 vent rib Belgium from my father who paid $167.00 in the early 70's ..... i don't shoot it b/c it will beat you to death

Does the mag 20 make it worth more, this has been a work gun, I think I might just trade it for a rifle or something, the stock was also modified long before I got it, this isn't a collectors piece by any means it is a work gun and has killed about a hundred ducks this year and now that I got my 2 new scatterguns I don't need it
