My 10 year old boy has only played three games of baseball in his life, and yesterday he was asked to pitch the last out in the game. The boy that pitched in front of him was struggling really bad and had walked like six batters in a row. We were down up by one run with the bases loaded when they pulled my boy off of first and asked him to get the third out. He walked the first batter with a full count, then the coatch told hin to take a deep breath and try to relax, the score is now tied 9 to 9 with the bases loaded. He was at a two and two count when he got the batter swinging for the third out. Although he he did not get the save I am so proud of him for getting in there and holding up to the pressure. Just wanted to share with you guys.
