how can I tell the year of my bow?

I recently purchased a new used bow. Guy said he won in a raffle and didn't need. He told me it was a 2011 model, how can I be sure?

Take the serial number and call Bowtech...I don't think they made the 82nd in 2011, though...

Look on the bottom limb. At the bottom of riser in side should be a clear stick with year on it. Should say 2008 or 2009.

Great bow but there almost no way it is a 2011

could have been old stock bought in 2011, but not that model. woozy bought a brand new mathews sportsman this week with the tags still on it and they were discontinued in 2004!!!
