    Beachside RV park...Bolivar

Anyone ever stay there? What can you tell me about it? What is the best spot to get? Things to do? Fishing? Bay or surf? Looking to pull the old Airstream to a new home for the summer and learning how to salt water fish. Any suggestions????

It shows to be near Crystal Beach and Rollover Pass. Anyone fish around there? If so, for what and how??

last time i went they were not letting rangers on the beach.

you also have to have a permit sticker for any vehicle you drive on the beach

Roll over turns on real good in july and there is always trout in the surf when it is green. The north jetty is not far from there and is protected on a south wind. If bull red and shark fishing is your thing it is always good down at High Island.

I've been salt water fishing a few times and love it. I thought this would be a good opportunity to learn how to do it on my own. I really appreciate the advise! I always wondered where to start when there are so many miles of surf, or is the bay better? I know there has to be some guys on here that fish there

Can't ride ranger on beach. Fishing probably not too good right now with all the fresh rain and really high winds

In July fish roll over on out going tide by the bridge or on the surf side on out going with mirro lures. On the beach front water needs to be flat and green just drive down beach and look for bait then you will find trout.

We took our Mule Boliver's Emerald beach close to Crystal slapped a sticker on it and were good to go. It was spring break and never got stopped once for being on it. And there was plenty of cops there!

Hit up rollover in October thru November for the flounder run. Only thing is you gotta have your spot by 6am or so. Because it literally gets elbow to elbow. The early tide usually produces bigger and more plentiful Flounder. At least it always did for us and the peeps around us. We always took a generator and fished under stage lights at night for trout and reds too. Theres a lil bait camp walking distance to there too that sells mud minnows and finger mullet. Think its called Miss Kims or something like that. Good luck.

Yes, but you won't be happy with it.
