I actually just put my second set of BFGs on my Tacoma. 265 75 R16s load range E... instead of D like my last pair. It makes it ride pretty rough on the black top but it'll dang sure turn a mesquite thorn and has gotten me out of plenty of mud holes. They really shine in sand as well!

i know a guy that owns a BIG TRUCK shop...lifts and huge tires and such....

i asked him what tire brand he sells the most of...he laughed and said well the first time its the Nittos cause they are so much cheaper than others but they come back within 20k miles with worn out tires and are then they put Toyo MT's on.

had bfg's in college until the sidewalls cracked way before the warranty. ran pathfinders throughout college and now have goodyear wranglers. got 70k on my goodyears and on the 2nd set now on the same truck.

My wife got 88,000 out of her Michelins and there was probably another 10,000 plus of wear on them.

True that, but my last set of Nitto's have come close to that too. Rotation, Rotation, Rotation.

I got 100K out of a set of OEM Goodyear Wrangler's on an F150.

Good luck with them BFG's i used to run them but never again. Compound is softer now.

i used to preach hard about them but i have been seeing this more and more over the past 12 months. LOVED me some BFG's. Heck i have a set of 265/75/16 sitting a set of rims for my Taco. Since i have my Goat i just keep my Toyo MT's on the Taco. BFG's are the most aggressive AT's out there plus they have a 3 ply sidewall but it sucks seeing them not getting the mileage out of them like they used to. plus they aint cheap!!!!

I ran BFG's for a while as well but after reading Brandon's previous posts about them changing the rubber compound plus the experience that a buddy of mine had with his new set I didn't go with BFG's this time.

all my guys run 10 ply so its the 10 plys they have had issues with....

when i bring this up with my vendors they just act like they don't know anything about it but a couple have said they are seeing way more issues with them. they get major kick backs with them so they don't want to say anything bad about them. they push BFG down my throat.

can't go wrong with Michelin AT2'S. my only complaint with them is that they are not aggressive at all but really do get the miles out of them. but hey we are older and we don't need to go mudin

Yeah, I put them on my truck last time. They have more noise and vibration than any tire I've had. Never again.

I went through three sets of BFG ATs on my old truck. I don't know how many miles I put on them but they were only good for three years. It didn't matter how much tread was left but right at three years they would start slinging the tread. Never again will I buy a set. Glad they worked for you Johnny.
