    thinking about a new bow

First off i hope everyone had a good hunting season! Not so good on my end but my son did get his first deer so what more could i ask for. Now to the question in hand . I was wanting to get back into to bow hunting full tilt and need new bow for this year and want some in put.The bow i shoot now has been a good bow but it is loud to me, Will mostly be hunting hogs(or deer if i ever get one to come around) with the bow, looking for something fast, quiet, and short.open to all suggestion any help?

I am kind of in the same boat. I have a good old bow, but it needs to be cranked up to near 80 pounds to get any real performance from it. I need to retire it and get some technology to work for me at a lower poundage.

I will be looking at the Bowtech 82nd Airborne, the Bowtech 101st Airborne, the Bowtech General, the Diamond Black Ice, and the Diamond Marquis. Or anything else that drastically strikes my fancy.

i got a mathews drenalin last summer and have been very impressed with its performance. i'd recommend shooting one before you buy anything- AND- since mathews just released a new bow you may be able to get the drenalin on sale!

There are plenty of good ones out there and everyone has thier favorite. I shoot a Parker and love it. I have been thinking of buying a second bow and what I'm going to do is go to a proshop and shoot several different kinds and see what I like. I guess what I'm saying is take your release and go shoot several different ones maybe go to a couple of proshops.

I shoot a Mathews with zero complaints, but when I do get a new bow I am going to look at the Bowtechs after their support of our military...

I love Hoyt bows. The new hoyt is the katana or 737. Supposed to be really nice bows. Check these out as well. I personally wouldn't go with anything but hoyt but, I know lots of people with Mathews bows that are happy as well.

Shoot every bow you can get your hands on and pick the one that feels the best for you.

Give the Bowtechs a whirl....you'll be impressed.

I am a Bowtech guy my self, but I have a buddy that has a Elite synergy and is upgrading to a Synergy XT. His bow is a little smoother on the draw cycle and is real comparable on speed. Either one would be a good choice.
