I have dealt with vandalism in my neighborhood and (this isn't a cop bashing) but PD really wasn't interested. I did get a detective when they slit a brand new 600 dollar boat cover and got most of my money back, but I would have pressed charges at the time if I would have had better advice. Egging my house and wifes car didn't interest the officer at the time and they don't write up vandalism reports here, so I handled it myself. Game cameras are a wonderful thing. I made sure all the punks in the area knew I had it and would "deal" accordingly with them if caught. New group of little vermin has moved in the area, so I will repeat the process again. I can't stand when you work your butt off for something and someone decides to destroy it for entertainment.

Talked to insurance company and found out we have a 500
dollar deductible. Heck the glass is 300.
