6 or 7 generations, family came to Hood County, Tx in 1850-51. Several of us have left from time to time to serve our country, but have always came back. Most have come back alive, but not all.

Awesome...right next to the zoo, right? haha. First things we must have heard were high fenced animals.

Born and raised in Fort Worth. Born at Harris Hospital in 1975. My mom is from California but my dad is from Eastland, both were raised on farms in Bowie and Eastland respectively.

Very proud of both my city and my state. Even though Dallas is only 20 mins away, it might as well be California over there, because it's so different. I love it that I can go to the Stockyards and it's no big deal to see horses being ridden down the street or go see a rodeo there too. I love this city.

Born and Raised in Texas. Both sides of my family have been in this country for over 200 years. My father’s side came into and setup camp in West Virginia before heading to this great state,(My 5X-Grandfather was born in Augusta County, Virginia in 1770; six years before the signing of “The Declaration of Independence”) my fathers family had a 16,000 acre ranch in Canadian, Texas. My Mother’s side came into and set up camp in Pennsylvania before heading west, they ended up in Johnson County and became significant in the Cleburne area raising Thoroughbred Race Horses. Both sides are from Scotland and we're related to William Wallace on my father’s side.

Family lineage is neat to have. We were very lucky to have several family members that were driven enough to dig through the archives here and overseas.

Texan since it was a territory of Mexico from both sides. Daughter is a documented and registered DRT. My GG Grandfather signed the Texas Declaration of Independence.
