    Best of the Rest

My Trophy Ridge drop away in just not getn-her-done anymore, fletch hitting left ear on way out. Kinda want some containment but not necessarily full. Hunt and shoot type medium price would be nice.
    What say you?

Check out the NAP Apache. I have had mine a few years now and have had no problems. Affordable too.

Now look what you have done !! The only thing I did not like was the top load, even cut the side out to make it easier to load. Just looking at other options and I found this....

Find a great selection of Archery Supplies, Bow Hunting Gear and Bowfishing Equipment at Bowhunters Supply Store. We offer world class service and great prices on all archery equipment from all the top archery manufacturers.

      Who uses this?

Rip is good I use the qad ultra hdx flawless and it can lock and hold your arrow for 100% containment

As does the ripcord.....unless you draw and have to let down..

Thats what I like about the QAD over the Rip cord but it was never a problem when I shot Rip cord. Can't wrong with either though. Shot a Schaffer opposition for a while pretty unique design, something to look into. I never kept mine clean though and it started gumming up on the inside and didn't open fast enough. They sent me a new one though no questions asked.

Do all Ripcords pop up on the draw feeling like something popping in the wheel or is it just mine......never had one before.

I chose the QAD Ultra-rest HDX over the Ripcord because of the let off feature. I believe both are good.

I don't see why anyone would shoot ANYTHING other than a WB. But to each their own.

It's possible the rest is not the problem.
But if your wanting containment, I think you will find you will get more contact since it is already hitting a drop away.

I use the same rest that's in question. Moved to it from the WB. Have no issues at all. Don't like the idea of my arrow touching anything upon release.
Just personal preference I guess. The WB worked just fine and there really is no difference in my impact area either.
