6 volt battery issues... could use advice.

I have a battery pack from WIldgame inovations. the one that has 2, 6 volt batteries in series ? for 6 volt total. This is powering a stealth cam 35.

They lasted about a year and now will not hold a charge.

Where / who would be the best place to get 6 volt batteries?

would batteries plus be good... or is academy / walmart batteries just as good.

I think I am gonna try to put a solar panel on the battery pack.

    thanx,

    David

You'll be fine with Academy batteries and probably like the price much better.

Two 6 volt batteries in series will give you 12v. Im guessing they are wired in parallel. Just about any sealed 6v rechargeable will work. The ones from academy have worked well for me.

        My stealth cams are 12v...

Here's the battery I run in mine. Also run a solar charger. Hard to beat that price!

I have the truth cam 35. 6 volts.

I figured the walmart / academy would work. Was not sure if the batteries plus battery was better.
