Using right handed limbs on left handed mathews

Mathews bows.......Does anyone have experience using left handed limbs on a right handed bow or vice versa. I have been told that it can be done by a few people then i have also been told that it cant. Any help would be appreciated.

With the older Mathews bows there is no such thing as a right or left handed limb . Only the newer Mathews bows that have string suppressors make a difference as to whether the limbs will work on left or right handed models . If memory serves me right theLegacy , LX , Black Max 2 , and Icon ( 2003 ) were the first Mathews bows to have string suppressors . Bows like the Q2 , Q2XL , Ultra 2 , Conquest 3, older FX , and dating all the way back to 3D Hunter should not make a difference if the bow is right or left handed . The limbs will work on either bow .

As mentioned above Icon , Legacy , Lx , Outback , Switchback (XT) , Drenalin , and DXT to name a few newer models are limb specific to right or left hand . Hope this helps you ??

You have to shoot a left handed arrow when shooting right handed with left handed limbs for best shooting.. Does not apply to MQ 32

And no drop away rests can be fired when shooting this setup. the leftie arrows will interfere with the dropping mechanism causing malfunction at the least opportune time.
