anyone carry a glock 19

I shoot the heck out of my 19 wondering if a lot of folks carry it or it's derivatives

I like mine but it seems a little big to carry.

I prefer a little thinner that the 19.

My 19 is my truck gun...great gun..Just don't like a huge handgun to pack. I love my Ruger LCP for personal gun. Some will say its too small a caliber...they are just wrong.

Ruger LCP for pocket carry. I have a Glock for my truck gun/carry. You will find that a pocket gun is great. Especially for summer carry.

I've carried my G22 (same frame) at times and it's a burden. Heavy and worries about printing. If you do carry such a pistol I reccomend a good holster like the CrossBreed.

I'm trying to decide between the Ruger LCP and the LC9 right now. I'm planning to rent and shoot both next week at the Arms Room. Just like buying a bow, test drive it.

I had a PM9, it's what I used to qualify with. It also jammed during qualifications, no pretty. It was not very reliable but I've never heard any bad other than that. Maybe I got a lemon. It was an ideal size for carry.

I have a Kahr P9 that shoots great and is very comfortable to carry in a IWB holster. I've normally just used a cheap Uncle Mikes, but I'm sure there are better options out there. The PM9 would be great as long as you don't mind your little finger not being on the grip. You may can get a finger extension or mag extension to fix that though. I polished the feed ramp on mine and haven't had any problems except for when it was exceptionally dirty. It has shot any brand of ammo I've run through it including the Monarch stuff from Academy. I've never shot steel cased ammo through it though. The only complaint I have is the night sights aren't very bright any more after 8 or 10 years, but that may have to do with the gun being left in the console of a hot truck a lot.

I've shot a couple as a test for our department to approve them. Good guns.

If you have the G19 already, why not the G26 9mm? If need be, you can use the magazines from your 19 in the 26. The PM9 is not significantly smaller than the G26.

Not to mention usually a couple of hundred dollar cheaper. If you like the Glock, for a couple of tenths of an inch in width and height, you can have a set of guns that will both shoot the same long magazines if needed.

Carried a g19 for a bit, but I like something with more of a bite. I carry a xdm .45 with 3.8"barrel. Extended mag holds 13 rounds of .45acp. If you can't hit something with 13 rounds, well you know. Lol
