That huge tornado rattled my nerves

Y'all I just got through watching a large twister moving through Dallas County. That was too close.

      Don't blame you.

History channel did a hypothetcial disaster series awhile back.

Dallas' was a "Supertornado" that rolled through downtown at rushhour...

Austin's was a massive windswept fire (that we almost had last year).

New Orlean's was a hurricane that overcame the levees - go figure...

JUst got through checking on the folks that still have phone service, but lots of places are without electricity. Dang, I watched that thing throw large objects hundreds of feet into the air like they were toys. Not sure yet on fatalities or injuries, but that thing tracked pretty darn close to the monster of 1994.

It was still on the ground the last time I had electricity to turn on a tv to see it. It moved on away from where I'm at, so I was havng to rely on tv coverage.

If I can stay out of the way of first responders, I'll see about getting some pics. Some roads were blocked last I heard.

I tried to get a few pics, but the more severely damaged areas are off limits. If they need me to, I'll get one of the larger tractors in there to move debris. Right now, there are still wires laying on the ground. Telephone poles snapped in two. Debris all over the roads in places.

I will post some pics of where I could get through. Been trying to get additional damage reports from friends in law enforcement, but some are too busy right now to contact.

I still don't have electricity, and am without a generator at the moment.

Here are the pics I was able to take. There were so many weird things I saw as far as how the wind swirled the wheat crops and grass in the fields.

The large tree in the photo is almost four feet in diameter.

Look at the last picture above^^^^^^^^ see how the wind from the twister laid the grass down. I noticed that all over right where there was any significant damage and the grass was high enough.
