    Sea World Vacation

We are thinking about going to SA this summer and going to Sea World, I am not good at planning a family vacation since most of the time we just go to the lease. Where is a good place to get good package deals for theme parks, Sea World will be the biggest part of the trip and we will go by the Alamao and do the river walk also. There will be 4 adults and 1 child. I was planning on all of us sharing a room to help keep the cost down.

    Thanks

We stayed at the La Quinta about 5 miles from Sea World in the sweet. Not too expensive for a few nights.. beats the prices any closer. River walk was neat but wished we had more time to hit more shops.
Sea World will $5 and $10 you to death. My suggestion is pay to park closer and take stuff for lunch and eat in the parking lot. Buy the big refill glasses the first day cause most all drinks are either free or a dollar per refill. That alone will save you alot of money.
Hope this helps a lil bit

x2 on the hyatt hill country resort. Not cheap but its a one stop shop for relaxing. great pool and outdoor bar, movies on the lawn at night for the kids etc.

We just stayed at the Holiday Inn Sea World right across the street.

We stayed 3 days, 2 nights. Sea World tickets, food, games, gas - $700

Its hard to do anything without dropping serious cash, but my son loved it and it was fun for the wife and I too.

I'm going next weekend with my 5 adults and 3 kids. We rented a 4 br house for less than the price of 2 hotel rooms. We used VRBO.

When you go in the gate, go over to the office's and ask about the behind the scenes tour. They take you back to where they take care of and train the animals. You get to feed stingrays, pet the dolphins and a lot more. It's reall cool.

this hotel is on the SAME ROAD as sea world and they offer shuttle services to there. stayed there the weekend of the 17th during spring break. holidays are miserable at seaworld, and we couldnt find a parking spot to get to Riverwalk thanks to st pattys day. something else to keep in mind.

the hotel is sweet, and the amount of people dictate how many rooms you have to get, not what you can afford. they will tell you on the website when you book the room whether or not its allowed.
