    Range finder

    What's a good range finder?

I don't like the Nikon 550 Pro... If it's a bit dark out I can't see the numbers (If there's a setting for this, let me know and I might want to keep it.)

    Any input?

They do. It's a bit more expensive. It tells you the angel you're shooting and everything.

Haha. I feel it's usually straight forward... I don't need something to show me that. I just need something to tell me how far away my shot is.

All bs aside, I hunt over feeders n know how far they are from the blinds. Other than that, I use stakes for shorter or longer shots if not at the feeder. Just a broke college kid makin due with what he's got, sorry no input or advice here. I'm sure some TBHers know what's best

Just looked at those. The problem is I can't read the black writing if I'm ranging something dark.

Oh. Well out of curiously, how do you see the animal at all in the finder in the dark?
I THINK, but am not sure, that redfield has a finder with a red readout.
