    Lost my wallet

Lost my wallet the other night during some intensive hog hunting.

Will a metal detector work on CC/Debit cards? Thick grass and whatnot.

I am screwed. License, college ID, CC/Debit, cash and hunting license.

Yes it is a camo wallet, Doh!

Took the dogs out to see if they could smell 'me'. No go.

Crap. I am thinking coyotes might have gotten it, but no recent activity on the Card (milk-bones and all).

Sorry to hear about that. I just tried a small hand held metal detector on some credit cards, but got nothing. Will try a regular detector and see what happens on various settings.

I have access to a nice 10" detector, and I have not tried it yet. I can't get to it until after school tomorrow.

I hope no KCSO are reading this. I feel naked as heck. And embarrassed.

While it won't help find your wallet, I am reminded of a tip I read several years ago. Take everything out of your wallet and make copies of your cards, driver license, etc. Makes it much easier to know what you need to cancel , get copies of, etc. Good luck and hope you find yours.

I wonder if tracking dogs could sniff it out?

I lost my $500 HTC phone while hog hunting couple months ago. ATT said they could easily give me the GPS coordinates....but I didn't sign up for that package so they were not allowed to tell me the coordinates even though they were right there in front of him on the screen. That sucks. Been using a $14 go phone every since. Hope you have better luck than I did.

Same thing happened to me spotlighting hogs a few months ago, we drove around in the truck and looked for it for about 15 minutes and then on the four wheelers for another 45, we were on our way back to the truck after giving up to find it covered in sand, we ran over it with the truck. I wasn't happy. Good luck finding it

true story, my dad lost his wallet on a south tx deer hunt back in the 70s. 8 years later some cowboy working cattle on the ranch find its and mails it to my dad money and all! dad sent him a thank you and a hundred dollar bill.
