semi-custom gun ?

I ordered a rifle and am second guessing my barrel choice. I ordered a blue barrel and I am having the entire gun cerakoted. Would a stainless barrel be a better choice (still cerakoted)? As far as ease of cleaning, fouling, life span etc.

Personally, I would have gone stainless. Blued barrel's on guns getting a super nice stock or scroll work.

The stainless isa harder barrel and would last longer, but if you dont shoot it much itdoesnt matter

Unless you are a competitive shooter or go on lots of prairie dog shoots, you aren't gonna wear out a rifle barrel if you aren't shooting max max loads---

Stainless is not harder than carbon steel.


I would have gone with the stainless.
