can't go wrong when mark chestnut and tracy byrd are your house bands. every once in a while they would let clay walker set in....

Maddogs in Commerce was a good one to. Lets hear about your favorite ones from the past or present times. Have a feeling this thread will have me thirsty. And a word of advice, stay away from the bars in Tawokani, Tx!!! Nothing but trouble, Trust me!!
Word of advice, stay out of tawokani! Haha

Use to be Cliffs Wagon Wheel, Campbell Texas. Seen many a fellow thrown out of there. My ex brother in law was a bouncer there till he hurt a guy bad, They use to see how far they could throw someone from the front door.
Annie Skinners in Jefferson Texas. Great halloween party every year.
The Cadillac and White Elephant in the stockyards. Classic
Gruene Hall is South Texas classic
Sorry to hear about Bustin Loose in Sulphur Springs. Joe Don Pogue took us there once I think.
Outlaws in Forney is a nice new place.

                  Been around

I'm working my way through the Houma, la bars.
Been to some DIVES, and a few pretty cool ones.

Sitting at the Jolly Inn having a beer right now.
It's a bar, restaurant, and dance hall. Everybody knows of it and most have been here.
It's dive-ish, but mostly because it tries to be.

W O's in Village Mills has a lot of local character for that area

                          Dixie Chicken

The Tap was a great bar when I was in college

Shultz's Beer Garden in Austin on game days

I miss Dos Equis, nachos, and washers at Zapato's in College Station.

We used to cut class and end up staying til the wee hours.

Boudain Hut would make the cut.

                                I liked your Cutters choice.

What about Sollies (spelling) in Jasper area?
