Who has a B.S in Criminal Justice?

Thinking of swicthing back to my old degree. I'm only a couple of classes from my B.S in CJ. I was looking at a B.S in HR, however I have always wanted to be a teacher. With me getting out of the military (maybe) there is a Troops to Teachers Program. I have been talking with them for the past couple of weeks and they explained to me that all I need is a 4 year degree and then they will help with my teaching cert along with student teaching and help find a job. Just wondering if anyof you have a B.S in CJ or a teacher?
    Thanks for the help.

I have a BS in CJ from Texas State. Teaching job are hard to come by right now but if you're 4 years out hopefully things will have turned around by then.

I have a BS in CJ from Sam Houston. It never really came in handy with my taxidermy business, or with the construction business I am currently involved with. Sorry for not being any help.

My brother got his BS & MS in Criminal Justice from SHSU. The MS allowed him to get into the Federal CJ system

I have a BS from UH-D. I am in my 28th year in law enforcement. The BS opened the door for Federal LEO. It was my career path though so for me it made perfect sense. I have no regrets whatsoever!

I have a BS in CJ. You can always do alternative certification if you want to teach.

BTW, several years ago, I heard you could take just a couple of classes if you had a BS and get a vocational teaching certificate. I am not sure if this is still the case but may be an easier path for you. I heard SHSU was one of the places that offered it. I knew some LEO that did this and taught Law Enforcement in the local schools.

I have BA in CJ from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Ragin Cajuns. Was planning on being a Game Warden and would have been on the oyster strike team checking oyster boats in New Iberia, la but they wanted me to start with a semester left of school. I asked to finish first but they were not willing to work with me and wouldnt even return my calls once i graduated. I now work in the oil field as a buyer for machined parts.
