        This one.

Lil narrow "ratchet head" that turned on the two way channel and perished. He's mounted not because of the trophy horns but for the story.

The taxidermist tried his best to position the ears to make it look like an "almost shooter".

This is a coastal buck from The Kennedy.

By the way, Bud told me today that we hunted Mr. Garcia's Ranch for 17 years.

I have a bunch of Garcia's photographs that I need to scan.

That bull in the last pic i passed up cause he was only 6 1/2 truthfully i just didnt want to gut him and cape him and write a check to my taxidermist. Roland rolled his eyes at me and said " Its not like you wont see another one" there is always an excuse NOT to shoot a bull. It turns quickly into work as Benito will find out

Rancho Los Indios was near the end of the red line but I'm not sure exactly where.

Farmdog measured the distance on the pipeline in beer. He used to say it was a 12 pack off pavement.
Your map brought back memories from long ago for me too. Back in the 90s I was apparently hunting very close to you guys at the Mesquitosa owned by a Rancher named Reniu. Tough drive down that PL, especially crossing those Lagunas when the berm was a wet slick mess..!

For a long time there was a burned car near the end of the pipeline. Apparently from the tracks it got stuck in mud and was abandoned. It was so remote, people just left it there and some jack wad eventually set it ablaze.

Legdog, not there but way back east near Falcon while hunting El Escarbaderos, I took my brand new (less than 2000 miles on it) 2002 Avalanche down to the ranch and got stuck and had to leave it there. That was an anxious week waiting to get back down there to recover what was left of it. It turned out that it was too wet for anyone to even steal it so the only damage was where the cows decided to use it as a scratching post. Sure took the "new" off in a hurry..!

Yeah I remember the Old Car. I don't think I have even seen one Burn like that before or Since

This group sounds like a blast. I hope Mexico becomes safe enough one day for me to get a shot at hunting it. I love Mexico on general
