El Paso to Center, TX

Need some help. Driving from el paso to center.
Better to go Abilene/Dallas route or junction/temple route?
Will be at night for last 250 miles.

I think either way is good. I just drove from Pecos to Center 4 days ago and it was smooth sailing all the way across 20. Get to drive back to Pecos on Tuesday.

I woulld stay IH-20 to Longview, then 149 to Carthage, then 59/96 to Center. If you get off the Interstate at Junction, you have a LOT of small towns and slow going to get to Center from there.
