Texting and driving Trooper Dash Cam.

THIS A VIDEO TAKEN BY A STATE TROOPER DASH CAM. SEE HOW QUICKLY YOUR LIFE COULD CHANGE BY TAKING YOUR EYES OFF THE ROAD FOR A SPLIT SECOND.

THINK ABOUT THIS NEXT TIME YOU SEE SOMEONE TEXTING OR READING A BOOK OR PUTTING ON THEIR MAKEUP WHILE DRIVING. THIS IS REALITY!

how do you know the person was texting?

this video was posted earlier this week, it literally made me sick to my stomach. what is see is someone who got on the hump in the black ice . . . they're not swerving or anything like that.

and how did you gather they were texting from that video, and not just a result from the conditions?

I never saw that this person was texting either. Pretty evident he just got in a hurry and tire got caught up in the burm. If you have never done that...once you enter the burm it will take you where you do not want to go. CASE IN POINT. .....Slow down!!!

Note the people in the video are not speaking english. Please don't believe every email you recieve.

I do appreciate the message though...we see way too many accidents on the road from texting.

I'd blame the icy conditions more than texting. Horrific crash.

Blame is 100% on the driver of the vehicle not driving safely under the road conditions. Now the 18 wheeler has to live with that on his conscious. We all make mistakes...this one was tragic!!.
