I've got marathons and I was a little disappointed when I got them. Yea they fit pretty good and look factiry. But talk about slick, anytime you hits the brakes what ever you had in the seat is now in the floor. And yes, they are water proof but being two piece it doesn't matter becasue they drain to the part where the two pieces meet. Didn't make much sense to me. If I get a new truck I won't be going back to marathons

Haven't heard the "slick" thing before and have never actually put my hands on any.

          Hmmmmmm????

Yea, everything ends up in the floor board. Not a huge deal breaker but definitely annoying

I put marathon seat covers on my f-150 and I hate them. I wish now that I would had just had the seats recovered and probably will when I get the time to have it done.

i had to replace my factory leather drivers side bottom about 3 months ago due to it tearing up where you slide in and out of in my '08 Sierra.

i used theseatshop.com and they are in carrollton, tx. it looks almost factory but the stitching is a little different but you can't notice unless you look really hard. cost me $200 plus shipping to look factory again. they are pretty good to deal with. they had a video on youtube showing you how to replace it. i still have one clip i need to attach but need longer tooling to attach it.

if they start tearing up again i'll probably get headwaters or marathons. i'm actually talking to the guy from headwaters on getting just a console cover since i noticed some small cracks now in the leather where i rest my arm.

Care to elaborate and give a reason?

You could have some cordura allergy for all we know and battle a rash on long trips.

Guy at work has Marathons and he has also complained about being slick. However, look good to me.

Do YOU slide on the seats too? Like on sharp turns or quickens stops? Or just notice it if something is in your seat(s)?
