Need a temporary break from your lease?

Just a thought. If anyone is thinking about giving up their lease but then think they will reget it, maybe they can work a deal where they give it up for one year.
I know the first year is always the best to me..new place to explore, hunt etc.. Then once it's figured out and predictable it's not as fun (to me).

I (along with probably a lot of other people here) would make a deal for one year. Reserve your spot, hunt in your place, or whatever the lease would allow. You keep your lease and get a year to see if you can live without, someone else gets a temp lease for one year.

Not sure if this will work but thought I'd post it up.

Id be more interested in just trading a few hunts for a few weekends... Ever get tired of staring at the same tree from your blind???

But then if somebody shot a P&Y off your spot how would you feel?

I think it's a good idea...I would just make sure the arrangement is in writing.

Would feel great if I shot a P&Y off your spot

I know what you mean. There is a bush that always turns into a hog as the sun goes down. Darn thing never moves though.

Year least sounds good but a weekend or two isn't a great idea. Knowing you only have a weekend or two. The brown down policy could be taken advantage of... Ild have to know who I'm letting on my lease very well...

Good luck with this. Anyone who is on a lease that's worth a darn and has worked their tail off making it what it is isn't going to let someone fill in for them for a year and benefit from all their hard work.

                    What does this mean?

And 2 week switch would be hard to do with most lease rules. A one year swap out may be acceptable.

And this idea was brought up because I saw 2-3 guys in another thread talking about giving up their lease but they were unsure if they could get back on their lease if they regretted getting off.

Guys throwing an idea out there, no need for you to get all possesive of deer you or landrover do not own. the back button is your friend

My lease is as fun as it was the first day I stepped on it.....even more so because 95% of all the work is done. The other 5% is filling feeders and maintenance..

Interesting idea. In theory, seems like it would be awesome, get to see new country, diff scenery, etc. and someone gets a break from his lease to try other hunts out, everyone wins.

With lease prices, feed so high, so much money invested I doubt anyone wants to let it go for someone they dont really know.

Cool idea, find the right person/lease it would work. Maybe two people could swap leases for a year, just thinking.
