ACOG eye relief sucks, had to use one for years on a duty rifle. If I was going that route, I'd buy the TA-31A with the triangle reticle. Great reticle for out to 600 yards plus, very, very quick site picture. But, the eye relief sucks, lol.

I would go with an accupoint if you can afford it.

Haha dang it I put accupoint. I meant to put aimpoint I really like CompM4, might look into the micros also and then get a magnifier.

Mine is basically brand new. I mounted it and shot about 20rds and took it off. Do some research on the price of that model new so youre not shell shocked and pm me if still interested. I'm well under new on my asking price.

Texasag, that is an excellent scope.

Warrington, it really depends on your application. For hunting or plinking, a variable scope with good eye relief is a better route, imho, than a fixed scope that requires strong attention to obtain eye relief.

Depending on your set-up, add a side mounted iron sight with a variable power scope and you cover the gamut.

3 gun needs are different and LE/MIL requirements are a totally different animal. I run an EO Tech with a 3x magnifier for work, and love the quick sight picture

Recently, I attended a carbine school that had a Leupold rep present with several of the newer scopes. They're all good, but I'm not willing to pay $3500 for one of thier new tactical scopes when I could not see much difference between those and the lower end versions for $500.

Man, buy a $100 BSA scope and use the cost savings on ammo. Then figure out what you really need and want.
