Below are a series of videos of my ex gf's daughter of a very nice buck that she killed at her grandfathers ranch. This was one of the most memorable yet trying hunts that I have ever been a part of. When this deer walked out her mom asked me why can't she shoot that one. I said, I don't know how big a deer your dad wants her to shoot. The texts to nana started and it was game on. Little did I know it would take this 11yr old girl over 12 minutes to finally pull the trigger. It took a little prodding from Kaitlynn offering her $5, then $15 and telling her to think of it as a 3pointer. Me telling her that the gun doesn't kick and it is not loud. Her mom putting her fingers in Shelby's ears. Worrying about coyotes running him off twice. All this while the monster is never more than 60yds away the whole time and there are 4 of us in a 4x6 very open box blind. Kaitlynn did a great job running the video camera.
