Easiest way to strip paint off cabinets

Me and my Fiance are trying to get the paint off the cabinets at our house and was wondering whats the easiest and cheapest way to remove the paint from them? All help and knowledge would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

Thanks, we started using paint stripper, but it's gonna take us a lot of stripper to get them all done. Just trying to find an easier way and to save us some money.

Stripper or a sander. Either way it will be a slow process. Can't think of anything that will work any fast. Last time I did it, we used a really thick liquid stripper that you brush on and let sit. The longer it sits the easier it will come off.

Stripper...buy the quality stuff (not what they sell at homedepot) wont take long and you can reuse the same stripper on all the cabinets

The fastest chemical stripper would be aircraft stripper, but it isn't cheap. Some of the Pell Away products work well too.

I'm with Capt. On thick layers, a good heat gun can do quite well. Aint as messy either. Have fun stripping however you go about it though! Dont strip too much though. You get them lil drops of that stripper on your skin and get them stingy spots!...like cookin' bacon naked!!

Look up a product called Soy Gel. I used it on my front door when stripped it down and it was awesome. It works very well and you can use it indoors because there are no chemical smells.

Answer: I am so glad you emailed my first. The best remover for paint, varnish, and epoxy is called Soy Gel. It’s not a acid. Is completely safe. It’s bio-degradable and has no odor. Just brush it on and let it work and then wipe it off. Brush it all on in one direction. Remember to let the remover do all the work, not you…leave it on long enough so that you can just wipe it off.
