Port O'Connor get away

My wife and I had a 2 1/2 day get away with no kiddos in POC and we had a blast! Started the day Friday at the big jetties with several upper slot and small bull reds up to 36" on light tackle...





After we made it back to the shallow water we ended up with a nice box of several good eatin sheepshead and a few trout.
We headed in and got cleaned up, got a nap and it was off to Josie's.

Chips and hot sauce, a bottle of makers mark, and my beautiful wife/fishin buddy.



Fresh fried trout, oysters, and fries!!! It don't get any better than this!!!!

Great trip. Wish I knew you were down me and the kids were fishing First Chain all weekend. Trout are any day away from going haywire. We caught plenty but had to spend all day to fill the box
