I was just wondering...There is a guy who uses the same avatar on atvfrontier.com under the yamaha section that I have talked to several times.

Hope you get all your arrow questions answered. Let us know what you come up with...

When you reply to a post hit "go advanced" at the bottom (instead of using the box already at the bottom of the page) and the smileys are on the right just click one and it will put them in your text.

If you quote someone it takes you directly to advanced page.

              Have good New Year Rocky!

As others have said, adding length to an arrow can weaken the spine and adds weight to the total. Just adding an 1 - 1 1/2 inch should be not be a big deal for your setup.

Here's an arrow selection chart that I found on Cabelas web site. My preference is to have the arrow 1" longer than my draw so I know it's in front of the riser. For your setup you can go to 29" so I would start at 28.5 and then cut back more later if needed. Take DaveC's suggestion and cut 3 of them and try them out before cutting the rest.

                ST Axis Arrow Selection Chart
                Draw Weight
                (lbs.) 27" 28" 29" 30" 31"
                60-65 400 400 400 400 340
                65-70 400 400 400 340 340

BTW - I have an arrow saw if you want me to do it. I'm in Georgetown not too far from your old shop.
