my prediction for the future is, with the price of fuel both gas and diesel if a man were in the market for a diesel rig i bet he could make a pretty dang good deal here in the next few months. what do yall say.

I'd disagree on the good deal on a Diesel. A diesel is more of a necessity than a need. People are still going to buy them regardless.

I am thinking of getting a F-250.. I just posted in another thread about buying when gas is high. In 2008 I bought a 2007 F150 FX4 loaded for 23K with 17,000 miles KBB was 32K and no one wanted to buy a big 4x4.

More and more people are going with Ecoboost and other trucks that can do close to the same.

agree, but alot of people drive them because of the cool factor and have no use for them. i think those sales are what they will lose. i would say its just about a 50/50 split of the people who drive a diesel p/u and those who actually need a diesel p/u.

I agree... but those that have no need for them yet have money to burn will still buy them
