There is a cool navy carrier there you can tour I don't remember the name

Tour the Lexington and Aquarium.

Brewster street under high bridge, water street oyster bar and restaurant, aquarium, port a, port a brewing co, surf club, the lex, jetty boat, beaches, walk the sea wall, Whataburger field, trout street, Virginia's on the bay, snoopys, docs to name a few things.

Most beaches are trashy. If you do want to go to a decent beach head to PINS. Padre International seashore.

The Lexington and the Hooks are the only things I found to do. Besides give some random dude CPR when he dropped dead on the street. Good times!

Fun trackers ( go karts etc) over by the base. There is also a mini golf deal past the intercontinental bridge. Other than that I would han out on the lex and walk around downtown.
