What ammo is this?

Don't know what kind of ammo this is. Someone tell me. My grandad had an entire ammo can full and now I have it. Worth anything? Or do I need to buy a gun to shoot it all ?

If it is 30-06 Springfield , is that different from a regular 30-06?

No,it's the same as regular '06, albeit a lighter load than most commercial loads. Will shoot just fine.
