A few hairs on a squirell never bothered me.

Now hair on a beaver ... different story!

I never did like whiskers left on the face.

One day, I decided to try something, and I added a few drops of liquid dish soap to a bucket of water and dunked the squirrel in it before skinning it. The soap breaks the oils down on the hair, allowing the hair to become waterlogged, and then it won't stick to the meat when you skin them. I've been doing this for about 20 years now, and it works great!

Here you go! Dunk them in water before you skin them

Are they good on the BBQ grill or are they too dry?

X2. Hunting in Arkansas growing up we had a lot of squirrel stew at camp. Good stuff.
