    confused by response from Outfitter.

ok, just trying to gauge if it is me and I don't realize it or if this seems bizarre to anyone else. I've taken out the names cause I'm not trying to bash anyone, just want to see if I am/was out of line for anything. Sometimes my directness can be taken the wrong way. Maybe that was the case. At any rate, I submitted a request for info about an alligator hunt on the outfitters website. About a day or two later I get an email about a hog hunt. I replied that my inquiry was regarding an alligator hunt. I got an unusual response to that. Anyways, here is the complete, unedited email chain (except I removed names). Obviously you need to read from the bottom up. Thanks:

"Thank you for the email. Yes we did send you an email by mistake. However, you recorded an email about alligator hunting three minutes later.
Thank you for your request, please find someone else in the future!

Is there a missing e-mail somewhere along the way? It sounds to me like the outfitter is confusing you with someone else. Either way, I would take his advice and find another outfitter.

        LOL

Seems a little touchy...take his advise and find another outfitter.

BTW, what is " hog hummus" ????

Sounds like some exotic middle eastern dish.

I think he gave you a great answer like the others said. Might have saved you a headache.

I'm confused by two things. He talks about an e-mail 3 min later and also the Hummus??

"Hummus is a Levantine Arab food dip or spread made from cooked, mashed chickpeas, blended with tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and garlic.[1][2] It is popular throughout the Middle East and in Middle Eastern cuisine around the globe."

Seems like he is mad at you, because he cant read. Oh well his loss. Go somewhere else. Is this place in Florida by chance?

Is it some scammer on Craigslist or a legit outfitter website?

Yeah, I'm glad to get this info early. So far, not the kind of outfitter I'd want to hunt with. Snipe, I'll PM you his name, but I've emailed him again asking for some clarification, so until I get his response I'll keep it on the DL. Guess I'll keep looking for an alligator outfitter. If anyone knows one, let me know.
