Purchasing from an Online gun merchant

Getting ready to order my LC9 w/laser but haven't quite decided where to get it from...
local shops are marked up about $50-100 more than I've found them online.. however I am willing to pay a little more for security of the deal...and maybe not have to deal with the hassle of a FFL shop..
What are the reputable online dealers some of you have bought with?
How smooth did the deal go with the FFL?

You will still have to deal with a local FFl holder for the transfer..

There's no way around dealing with the FFL transfer, unless you buy from an individual. You might try Texas Gun Trader for a FTF or the classifieds here (preferably do business with one of our TBH brothers). Good luck.

I've always figured by the time I paid shipping and ffl transfer fee (50 bucks at shop in pampa) that's the price is the same as the locals

..by hassle I meant if I bought it online and did the transfer thing .. as opposed to buying local..
I'm CHL'd so no headache in the paperwork ...

I like to support my LGS, as they take very good care of me when I need something. One other thing to add in if you do buy at your LGS is sales tax.

I've used gun broker online with good results. On there web page is a ffl locator. The guy I use is here in Tomball and is only $10 if u have chl. There is a guy in spring that charges $20 which is not bad either. Plus no tax online!!!

I bought the LC9 with laser just like youre lookin at.I searched the Internet and the best price I found with laser was 417$. After tax,shipping and FFL transfer it would cost me around 480-490$. Local gun shop sold me the same gun for 425$ plus tax.After tax the price was a couple dollars difference and I left with it that day.

Not sure how much prices have changed, but looks like same gun for under 400 with shipping and FFL transfer here........

I like to support the local guys, too, but have bought off gunbroker several times and never had any issues.

ColinR who do you use in tomball for only $10 transfer fee with chl? pm if you dont want to post up i need to keep that info, cheapest ive found is using 10 ring in cypress. and i live in tomball..added bonus
