    BASS possible ARK state record

fish was seized because he was fishing without a license. why do people do these things?
Less than two weeks after an Arkansas largemouth bass record apparently was set, an investigation by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission has revealed that the fish was caught illegally.

This fish was caught in a lake at Village Creek State Park... 30 miles from my place.

NOTE: Crowder stated that he was not initially aware that his license had expired.

NOTE2: Arkansas, for years, had your license last 365 days from date of purchase... that only changed recently (****-near caught me off guard last season).

Not a defense. Just a FACT.

What area of Ark are you from? I have several good friends there that are headed here now to hunt next week. Some from Mt. Home, Lonoke, West Helina area.

                So close to W. Memphis.

I thought the pic of the bass had some terrain that looked very familiar to the areas we hunt there

Yessir... CROWLEY'S RIDGE. The only **** hill for a 150 miles... in any direction.

It's my neighbor, out the front door and across the fields (about 6 miles East).

NOTE: I know you have a friend in the area (W. Helena), but you can add me to the list of "to call"... should you ever need help in the area.
